God’s tabernacle, the New Jerusalem and the City of Enoch are all one and the same and the appearing of the City of Enoch will be the Sign of the Son of Man according to Joseph Smith, we read:
“Wandle Mace, a trustworthy Church member in Nauvoo, reported that he heard Joseph Smith ‘speak of the sign of the coming ofthe Son of Man, which all should see’ and that it would be ‘the return of the City of Enoch to the earth.’ [Sayings of Joseph Smith as reported by those who claimed to hear him make the statements, LDS Church History Library]
Of this appearance the Prophet Joseph Smith stated:
“Then will appear one grand sign of the Son of Man in heaven. But what will the world do? They will say it is a planet, a comet, etc. But the Son of Man will come as the sign of the coming of the Son of Man, which will be as the light of the morning cometh out of the east” (Teachings: Joseph Smith, 252–53).
Because the city of Enoch is also noted as God’s Tabernacle, should it surprise anyone that it would return during the feast of Tabernacles and that the world would think it to be “a comet, etc.”?
We see the potential for just such and event during the feast of Tabernacles in 2024 with the appearance of what observers have designated as C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan ATLAS.

Of the heavenly signs of the Lord’s coming, Joseph Smith said:
How are we to see it? As the lighting up of the morning or the dawning of the morning cometh from the east and shineth unto the west, so also is the coming of the Son of Man. The dawning of the morning makes its appearance in the east and moves along gradually. So also will the coming of the Son of Man be. It will be small at its first appearance and gradually become larger until every eye shall see it. Shall the Saints understand it? Oh yes. Paul says so [1 Thes. 5:4-5]. Shall the wicked understand? Oh no. They [will] attribute it to a natural cause. They will probably suppose it is TWO GREAT COMETS COMING IN CONTACT WITH EACH OTHER. As those of you who have read my book many already know, I’ve been saying that the meetings at Adam Ondi Ahman should be unfolding during the fall feasts (Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles) in 2024 and that we should expect the Lord to make his appearance during the feast of Tabernacles in mid October… well guess what? If you have read Millennial Dawn you know that what we’re talking about in today’s post is the fulfilling of prophecy! To quote Ezra Taft Benson one more time, we read:
“But on the other hand, if the gentiles on this land reject the word of God and conspire to overthrow liberty and the Constitution, then their doom is fixed, and they “. . . shall be cut off from among my people who are of the covenant”. (1 Nephi 14:6; 3 Nephi 21:11, 14, 21; D&C 84:114-115, 117)
“The great destructive force which was to be turned loose on the earth and which the prophets for centuries have been calling the “abomination of desolation” is vividly described by those who saw it in vision. Ours is the first generation to realize how literally these prophecies can be fulfilled now that God, through science, has unlocked the secret to thermonuclear reaction. (Oct. general conference, 1961)
And if you understand what the 42 months is all about, you know that this could be upon us in less than 18 months, compliments of NATO nations that have lost their minds and think that Russia is going to roll over and submit.
I’ve been posting about this and warning that it was coming for some time now but we are presently seeing a huge increase in the seriousness of the situation. Now, I should note that prophecy indicates that this will spell the end of “the whore of all the earth” who according to Nephi is among the nations of the gentiles and who is in the business of warring among the nations… the NATO nations will be the big looser and the Lord’s first appearance will follow “immediately” thereafter in order to rescue the elect.
The great and abominable church and whore of all the earth has it’s own propaganda machine and when it comes to drumming up support for it’s endless, imperialistic war mongering ways we find that even conservative leaning outlets like Fox News is frequently playing their drums.
What they are telling us about the war in Ukraine is soooo far from reality and if we are going to understand how current events are fulfilling prophecy, we need the truth, we need to know what’s really going on!
May I suggest that you check out what people like Jeffery Sachs and Douglass Macgregor are saying on YouTube. There are a number of YouTube channels that do their best to get at the truth, my personal favorite is called Redacted. The world is such a different place once you break free of the propaganda machine… The video posted below presents some of what we need to understand to get around the propaganda machine…
One of the main factors that make it difficult to understand how prophesy is presently unfolding is the fact that the truth can be so hard to come by these days. So much of the news and social media, like Twitter 1.0, carry water for those in power and if you want to know what’s actually going on you have to be pretty selective.
To me the reality is that we are in a 42 and counting down to the abomination of desolation on the gentiles as explained by Ezra Taft Benson and confirmed by Daniel, Joel, Isaiah, Nephi, John and others. And we must have an accurate picture of current events if we are to see it coming.
In the video below we get a history lesson as presented by Jeffery Sachs who explains the NATO/Russia agreements dating back to the early 1990’s and how violations of those agreements have led to the events presently unfolding in Ukraine.
The other person of note in this video is retired Army Colonel Douglass Macgregor who is an excellent source on how the war in Ukraine is actually going and the games being played by the power-mongers… most of the media are not telling us the truth about this situation.
In so much as we are about half way through the 42 months, and as inflation continues, armies march, economies fail and food become less and less available, we will need to draw ever nearer to our Savior, Redeemer and Deliverer…
In the twenty fourth chapter of Matthew the Lord explained that a time would come when he would send his angels to deliver his elect, we read:
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Remember, this is to occur when the sun is darkened, the moon shall not give her light and the stars shall fall from heaven… And we shall all be in need of rescuing, right?
It is just then, in the middle of the darkest night, that he shall send out an army of angels to rescue us!
Understanding the abomination of desolation on the gentiles and how it brings in or just barely precedes the Lords first appearance to his saints as the Bridegroom is critically important in our day. We are not waiting for the signs of his coming, we are living the signs of his coming!
As important as it is to read and understand prophecy, for our generation, it is especially critical that we wake up to the fact that we are a part of the fulfillment of prophecy! And as such we aught to be paying attention to what’s going on in the world.
To help you better understand where we sit, I’m going to include a video that will hopefully clarify our present situation. In this video Tulsi Gabbard interviews Jeffery Sachs who gives us some important historical background concerning past US and Russian interactions as well as an assessment of where we stand today. It’s well worth watching the entire video or you can start at the 20:00 mark if you prefer.
As alarming as this all sounds, let us not forget the words of President Nelson in the Sunday morning secession of conference, said he:
“In coming days, we will see the greatest manifestations of the Savior’s power that the world has ever seen. Between now and the time He returns “with power and great glory,” He will bestow countless privileges, blessings, and miracles upon the faithful.”
Now, considering the starkness of the situation we find ourselves in, had we not aught to live in such a way that the Lord can “bestow countless privileges, blessings, and miracles upon” us “Between now and the time He returns “with power and great glory,”?
In my humble opinion, President Nelson’s talk was a masterful discourse on how we can draw closer the Lord in preparation for his coming, for he said:
“As I have stated before, the gathering of Israel is the most important work taking place on earth today. One crucial element of this gathering is preparing a people who are able, ready, and worthy to receive the Lord when He comes again, a people who have already chosen Jesus Christ over this fallen world, a people who rejoice in their agency to live the higher, holier laws of Jesus Christ.
I call upon you, my dear brothers and sisters, to become this righteous people. Cherish and honor your covenants above all other commitments. As you let God prevail in your life, I promise you greater peace, confidence, joy, and yes, rest.”

President Nelson’s Sunday morning talk was one of the most powerful, profound and far reaching talks given in this dispensation in my view and the following was especially revealing, said he:
“In coming days, we will see the greatest manifestations of the Savior’s power that the world has ever seen. Between now and the time He returns “with power and great glory,” He will bestow countless privileges, blessings, and miracles upon the faithful.”
When we look closely there’s really quite a bit to unpack here but it is also nicely condensed in two sentences or two thoughts and fortunately, in the second sentence he quotes a bit of scripture…
Please note the opening paragraph where President Nelson says, “You are constantly on my mind” and then goes on to elaborate about his concerns for us and this is the context in which we need to view his comments about “the faithful”. He knows that we are going through and that we will continue to go through some very difficult transitional times.
Now, let us take a moment to investigate a specific part of the Lord’s return “with power and great glory” that will particularly impact “the faithful”… we go to Matthew 24 and read:
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days (abomination of desolation on the gentiles) shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
It’s pretty easy to see from the above text that when the Lord first comes “with power and great glory” and gathers his saints via “his angles” we will be in pretty good shape and because the Lord brings the heavenly New Jerusalem with him, we will be protected and provided for. But I don’t think this is the part that concerns President Nelson so much for us, rather, it’s the time “Between now and the time He returns “with power and great glory” and so he assures us that the Lord, “will bestow countless privileges, blessings, and miracles upon the faithful” during that time. And he goes on to say:
“Nonetheless, we are presently living in what surely is a most complicated time in the history of the world. The complexities and challenges leave many people feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. However, consider a recent experience that might shed light on how you and I can find rest.”
At this point in his talk he give us a masterful discourse on how we can “find rest” and prepare ourselves or become the people we need to be so as to be ready to meet the Lord when he comes… and near the close of his address he says:
“As I have stated before, the gathering of Israel is the most important work taking place on earth today. One crucial element of this gathering is preparing a people who are able, ready, and worthy to receive the Lord when He comes again, a people who have already chosen Jesus Christ over this fallen world, a people who rejoice in their agency to live the higher, holier laws of Jesus Christ.”
As faithful Latter-Day Saints we need to dig deep into the substance and meat of the prophets words that we might prepare our hearts and minds and be among those whom the angels, “shall gather together… from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

In the previous post we discussed Ezra Taft Benson’s comments regarding the wicked gentiles attempt to “overthrow liberty and the constitution” and the “doom” that it would bring upon them… as a refresher we repeat the quote, said he:

In light of the above quote, it’s not difficult to see that we are presently setting on a precipice and the only questions remaining to asked are… exactly how close are we and is there really any way to know when?
My answers is very and yes…
The reason I’m able to say yes is because the very same set of circumstances that Elder Benson describes above is what John and Daniel saw in vision, they saw that the wicked gentiles would make war on the saints and on all nations and they both tell us that it would go on for 42 months… we read from Rev 13:
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Ezra Taft Benson explained that this situations would bring “doom” on the wicked gentiles and that they “shall be cut off from among my people who are of the covenant” and suggested that it would come via “thermonuclear reaction”, which is to say that it will come by means or warfare, right?
John says that the beast (wicked gentiles) would be permitted to “continue forty and two months” and would “make war on the saints, and overcome them” and that ultimately “he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword”, and so the beast goes down via warfare!
Now, if you can’t see that the present administration is waging war on America, and on hard working, constitutional minded, freedom loving folks who predominantly subscribe to the Christian faith… you just might have your head in the sand. But on the other hand, if you can grasp the obvious, it’s not hard to see that this government approved persecution of citizens got it’s start with the inauguration of this administration or Jan 20, 2021.
And having a starting date, it’s a rather simple thing to add 42 months or 1260 days to calculate when the 42 months will end, right?
Elder Benson explains that the “doom” of the gentiles is the “abomination of desolation” and JST Matt. 32-33, 36 explains that “the Son of Man” will come “immediately after the tribulation of those days”…
Daniel also shows us the same relationship between the 42 months and the coming millennial kingdom, from chapter 7 we read:
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
26 But the judgment shall sit, (At Adam Ondi Ahman where the Son of Man receives the kingdom) and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
And so it’s quite apparent that this sequence, which we are already about half way through will soon lead us to the cleansing of America and “the greatest manifestations of the Savior’s power that the world has ever seen.” (Russell M. Nelson, Oct. 2, 2022)
The dividing of the Red Sea will pale when compared to what we are about to witness!
